Roots Up Gallery offers unique works in Savannah’s Design District.

With fellow local businesses like and One-Fish Two Fish nearby, this new location encourages more foot traffic and easier street-level access. But what has excited gallery owner Leslie Lovell most is the additional space, which includes a 40-foot long gallery wall. “We have a lot more room to work with here,” Lovell said. “So we’re still playing with the layout of where things will go.”

Roots Up Gallery is known for its down-to-earth and cozy charm in highlighting local and regional artists.
Their collection is vibrant in color and one-of-a-kind in design—something the Savannah gallery prides itself on. With a focus on Southern folk art pieces by outsider and visionary artists, the gallery also features handmade products such as jewelry, pottery, wood and metal sculptures available for purchase.
Both Lovell and gallery curator Russell Kueker want to thank artists and patrons for their support and look forward to seeing.
