Oktoberfest

Sept. 26th-Oct. 18, Plant Riverside District transforms into a lively Bavarian-style celebration every weekend, complete with Wiener Dog Races, festive games, and live music by The Rhinelanders on the Riverwalk Stage. Savor authentic Oktoberfest flavors with Bavarian-inspired food and drink specials, from giant pretzels and bratwursts to seasonal beers. Embrace the spirit of the season — don your lederhosen, dance to traditional tunes, and raise a toast to good times along the Savannah River. Tybee Island Pirate Festival

Put on your bandana and eye patch proudly as we prepare for an extraordinary weekend! Join us for the annual Tybee Island Pirate Fest from October 9th-12th. This event promises a unique escape from the ordinary, celebrating its 21st year with a full schedule of activities. Get ready for the highly anticipated Buccaneer Ball, a lively parade, an exciting pub crawl, and a Thieves’ Market filled with treasures. BLUES, BREWS, BBQ, & BOURBON

Fall Festival Season in Savannah

October 11th, from noon-4 p.m. at the Park at Eastern Wharf. Enjoy a large festival-style tent featuring numerous beverage suppliers, all providing unlimited samples of their products, including craft beer, whiskey, and possibly other spirits. Experience performances from three local bands on a centrally located stage. We have invited several Texas-style BBQ masters, who will be cooking on-site using offset stick-burning smokers. 20th Annual Wag-O-Ween

Fall Festival Season in Savannah

Wag-O-Ween is a pet-friendly community event that attracts 3000+ yearly participants. Participants – dogs and their humans – dress up and go Trick-or-Treating at participating businesses throughout the Downtown and Starland Districts of Savanah. Oct 25th and 26th, noon-5 p.m. Enjoy Trick-or-Treating, a Photo Contest and Raffles in Pulaski Square & Starland Yard and Wiener Races in  Downtown Savannah & Starland District.​ For more information, visit the website.

The Hostess City Food and Wine Fest

The Hostess City Food and Wine Fest will celebrate the finest offerings of the Coastal Empire’s food and beverage scene. Taking place November 7th and 8th along the picturesque Savannah River at Eastern Wharf, this all-inclusive afternoon promises an unforgettable experience filled with flavor, music, and community in one of the city’s most scenic waterfront locations. Attendees will enjoy unlimited tastings from top chefs, restaurants, and beverage artisans. From fresh coastal cuisine to classic Lowcountry dishes, as well as world-class wines and inventive cocktails, this inaugural event will have something to satisfy every palate. Davenport House Museum Fall Arts Festival

The Davenport House – an iconic c. 1820 historic house museum owned and operated by Historic Savannah Foundation – will host the second annual Davenport House Museum Fall Arts Festival, a vibrant celebration of more than two centuries of creativity, preservation and community, on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public and will take place at the Davenport House Museum and garden, located at 323 E. Broughton St. in Savannah, Ga., as well as in the Historic Kennedy Pharmacy and Columbia Square.

Davenport House Museum Fall Arts Festival highlights include an artisan vendor fair; hands-on art activities led by Rebecca Braziel and Salacia Salts; and a collaborative community art project led by Calvin Thomas that will invite participants of all ages to contribute to a shared work of art. Live music will be provided by Susanna Kennedy, Cory Chambers, Hollee Spring and Michael Carp. On-site food vendors will include Pour Boy Mobile Barista and Nieve with Love Handcrafted Frozen Desserts. Additional vendors and activities will be announced closer to the program date.

In addition, the award-winning Davenport House Museum will be open for exploration, free of charge, and will offer special opportunities and interactive activities designed to connect the house’s history with Savannah’s arts community. For more information, visit the website.

 

The Shalom Y’all Jewish Food Festival

Join Congregation Mickve Israel‘s “The Shalom Y’all Jewish Food Festival,” taking place on November 9th from 11 am.-4 p.m. For 35 years, the festival has been filling Monterey Square with the delectable aromas, lively sounds, and vibrant spirit of Jewish culture.
