Savannah’s Waterfront Independence Day Celebration: July 4 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Savannah’s Waterfront is delighted to host the Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4th. The event is free and open to the public.
The 3rd Infantry Division Bands will be performing from 6:30 pm until 9:45 pm on Rousakis Riverfront Plaza. Based at Fort Stewart in Hinesville, Ga., members of the Brass Band and Rock Band will kick off the evening. The finale is the 40-piece U.S. Army Concert Band that has delighted audiences around the world since its inception in 1943.
The annual Independence Day Fireworks Show begins at 9:15 pm and lasts about 20 minutes. Bring chairs and blankets. No coolers, please.
There will be several opportunities to celebrate our nation’s birthday on Savannah’s Waterfront with dinner and drink specials at many waterfront restaurants. Merchants are looking forward to greeting guests as they enjoy the many shopping and dining options along the waterfront.

Savannah Stars and Stripes July 4th Weekend Celebration
Plant Riverside District will host the 2023 Savannah Stars and Stripes July 4th Weekend Friday, June 30 through Tuesday, July 4 to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday.
The patriotic annual celebration offers free family-friendly entertainment, including live music on two riverfront stages, special fountain shows and food and drink specials.
All family-friendly festivities, which are free and open to the public, will take place at Plant Riverside District, located on Savannah’s historic riverfront at 400 W. River St.
