Savannah has something to please absolutely everyone, and its unique bar scene is no exception. Looking for a rooftop spot with dramatic views, premium cocktails, beer, wine, and to-die-for nibbles? These are some of Savannah’s most beloved options.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Savannah Historic District/Riverfront
- 611 E River St
- Their riverside location offers great views from our resort-style rooftop area that includes a bar, pool, cabanas, and nightly live music. It is available to reserve for private events.
The Lost Square, Alida Hotel
- 412 Williamson St.
- This “outdoor parlor” is popular for its spectacular views, cozy atmosphere, and roaring fireplace. And, if it gets too chilly or you’d just like some space to yourself, you can reserve a “Winter Igloo” for up to 6 people in 90-minute increments. How fun is that!?
Rocks on the River, The Bohemian Hotel
- 102 W Bay St.
- Just walking into the gorgeous Bohemian Hotel is a treat, but wait until you get up to the rooftop! This restaurant/bar is absolutely stunning. Food and drinks are available in the main dining room or outdoors on comfy couches and high top tables, where you can look out over the sparkling river, day or night.
Peregrin Rooftop Lounge, Perry Lane Hotel
- 256 E Perry St.
- This is another mosey-through-the-hotel-on-your-way-to-the-rooftop situation. It is a marvel. This menu includes both “warm-up” and “cool-down” cocktails, so whatever the weather, Peregrin has you covered! Views include at least one church spire, the historic Savannah Theatre marquee, and the crown of Savannah’s celebrated live oak canopy. You can even book part, half, or the full space for your next special event!
Bar Julian, Thompson Hotel
- 201 Port Street
- This is one of the newest bars in town, but it’s already getting rave reviews. Visitors are saying this is THE best view in the city, with the sunset behind the Talmadge Memorial Bridge and the massive tanker ships inching by on their way to and from the port.
Perch, Local 11Ten
- 1110 Bull St.
- This rooftop bar is a little different from the others in that it is open to the sky, but the beautiful, modern seating and seasonal heaters are enclosed by gorgeous wooden planks, oak trees and bamboo. It feels a little more intimate, though there is plenty of space to spread out. This is a great spot for local connections, seasonal fare, and live music, and it’s just steps from Forsyth, which makes it central to just about everything!
