January 1: Wormsloe Historic Site invites families to join in a hike – what better way to start out the new year? Surround yourself with the beauty of nearly 400 southern live oaks as you make the way down the beautiful and historic Live Oak Avenue (1.5 miles), making way into the past and onto the Interpretive trail (.8 miles), and making the way back up the Oak Avenue. Total distance is roughly 4 miles. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable closed-toe shoes, and bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and insect spray.
