Friday, June 19th, 5 p.m. Daffin Park: For generations, this historic park has served as a place of gathering, reflection, and celebration for the community. On Juneteenth, Daffin Park becomes a living expression of Jubilee, where legacy is honored, freedom is affirmed, and the night sky shines as a symbol of renewal, hope, and shared joy.
The Juneteenth Fireworks Show fills the park with high-energy live music from TG Live, one of the top bands in the Southeast, closing the night with nonstop rhythm and celebration as fireworks light up the sky.
New this year: Sound of Freedom: Battle of the Live Bands — an outdoor showdown where rising talent competes for a cash prize, bragging rights, and a live audience-chosen title. From soulful grooves to dance-floor favorites, it’s freedom expressed out loud and joy shared across generations.
Throughout the Juneteenth Fireworks Show, attendees can enjoy a variety of local food trucks offering flavorful options to match the energy of the night. From classic favorites to bold, crowd-pleasing dishes, guests are free to explore, eat, and gather at their own pace—turning the park into an open-air food experience. Paired with live music, dancing, and fireworks, the food truck lineup adds to the spirit of Juneteenth and Jubilee, bringing people together through shared flavors, fellowship, and celebration.
