Dirty Dancing set the standard for dance and romance films upon its release 35 years ago, and left many yearning to nail that lift with leading man Patrick Swayze. Set at a Catskills resort in the early 1960s, the film traces the love story of Johnny (Swayze) and Baby (Jennifer Grey) as they break down class barriers and set the dance floor on fire. Join us as the Lucas Theatre is transformed into Kellerman’s for a night, where absolutely no one will be put in a corner. Watermelon drinks are on special!
Tickets for the film, part of the Lucas Theatre Summer Centennial series, are $5 for SCAD Card holders, students, seniors, and military, and $8 for the general public. For more information and to purchase tickets, go here.
