4. Zunzi’s

Zunzi’s is a South African-inspired takeout, delivery and catering restaurant. Locals line up for globally inspired hearty meals at this offbeat counter-serve eatery. Run by the owners, Johnny and Gabriella DeBeer, who hail from a mix of Swiss, Italian, South African, and Dutch backgrounds, the restaurant has created an eclectic mix of flavors. Their menu boasts dishes such as a delicious cottage pie, a vegetarian curry stew (veggie heaven!), and homemade lasagna. However, the true showstoppers are Zunzi’s sandwiches – especially the Conquistador! With a baked chicken breast on French bread and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and an irresistible special sauce, it’s no wonder The Travel Channel’s Adam Richman named it one of the top three sandwiches on his show Adam Richman’s Best Sandwich in America. This restaurant is definitely worth checking out for its amazing flavors and unique menu offerings.
