Join professional chefs and master sommeliers at the Mansion at Forsyth Park and learn how to cook like a pro. This Master Class Series will bring in different experts each day to host cooking demos and wine tastings.
The 2015 Master Classes at the Savannah Food and Wine Festival have not yet been announced. Below is a list of the events that happened in 2014.
“Spain for the Holidays” – a cooking demo by Curate’s Katie Button from Asheville.
“A Taste of Iberia” – a wine tasting headed by Master Sommelier Robert Jones, featuring wines from Spain and Portugal.
“Bon Appetit, Y’all” – a cooking demo with Georgia chef and author Virginia Willis, featuring some favorites from her cookbook, including arugula with roasted pears, goat cheese mustard crusted pork loin, parmesan grits, greens and Georgia pecan brownies with vanilla ice cream.
“Catch on to Local Seafood, from Pole to Plate” – Chef Nico Romo, Fish’s youngest Master French Chef from Charleston, will demonstrate how to clean a fish and use local seafood to make a great dish for dinner.
