Non-Fiction Gallery presents Future(s) Anterior, a solo MFA Thesis Exhibition by Jennifer Lee Hallsey on Friday, May 6 from 6-9 p.m. “Jewelry is a vehicle and the objects themselves become the language for an encounter to occur. My work exists as a discussion of and about process; metal fabrication is only part of the ongoing discourse. Through the lenses of photography, digital reproduction, installation, appropriation and collaboration, I have explored and continue to explore concepts of value, authenticity and aura, and the original or the primary. These acts become a dialogue.”
The exhibition runs May 6-May 9, 2016, per gallery hours. Opening reception is on Friday, May 6 from 6-9 p.m. and the Artist Talk is on Saturday, May 7 at 3 p.m. For more information, please contact Non-Fiction Gallery at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit nonfictiongallery.com.
