Practice makes perfect!
Get your green on!
Whether it’s shamrocks or lucky charms on a green shirt, bow ties, suspenders, tutus, kilts, hats, tights or knee socks, all guests are encouraged to bust out their most festive attire for this event.
How It Works:
At the start of this Irish-themed bar crawl, participants will get a Pot O’ Gold with a Leprechaun List scorecard map for attendees to mark their progress and get them into all the participating bars for free, in addition to a free koozie, beaded necklaces and all kinds of other specials from sponsors.
Those looking for some friendly competition can compete with other “crawlers” by visiting each bar to complete their Leprechaun’s List. As crawlers enter the different venues, a doorman or bartender will mark off their bar on the scorecard, just for showing up – they don’t even have to buy a drink. The first 250 guests to complete their scorecard will get an official Bar Crawl Savannah St. Practice Day T-shirt.
In 2014, St. Practice Day made its debut and, according to Stafford, they “slammed” River Street with hundreds of people, some of which who don’t like to brave the crazy visitor crowds during the actual St. Patrick’s Day.
“A lot of locals don’t really go out for St. Patrick’s Day, so this is kind of the local’s time to come out and see Savannah during this beautiful time of year,” said Brian Stafford, of Stafford Promotions.
