Join us for Raising Hope, an uplifting and enlightening event to raise funds in support of the work of Union Mission, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Savannah.
For 80 years, Union Mission has served the homeless community of Savannah. With a variety of programs designed to provide safety and stability to those working to rebuild their lives and leave homelessness behind, Union Mission offers a second chance to men, women, and children in need.
Thanks to the community’s financial and volunteer support, over the past five years 73 percent of our clients exited emergency services into safe, stable living arrangements. Your support makes a difference and your generosity helps those individuals and families to rebuild their lives. Unfortunately, the need is still great. Savannah has an overall poverty rate of 26% and 33.4% of Savannah’s children live in poverty. Over 4,000 individuals are homeless in the greater Savannah area. But thanks to you, there is hope….
The Raising Hope reception begins at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 7 p.m. Attire is business casual. Ticket are $125 per person or $1,100 for a group of 10 and orders must be received no later than Friday, April 14, 2017 at 5 p.m. For more information, go to unionmission.org and for further questions, call Union Mission at (912) 236-7423.
