A.U.R.A. Fest began in 2000 with the inaugural event at Tybee Island’s American Legion. Since then, there has been eight festivals in three cities, with performances from the best local, regional and national underground rock and metal bands. In 2017 A.U.R.A. Fest returns to Savannah with the most ambitious festival yet. 15 bands, 2 stages in the beautiful gardens at Ships of The Sea Maritime Museum. The lineup runs the gamut of rock and metal. From the atmospheric post rock of Native Suns to the catchy pop punk choruses of Reckless Serenade, to the blistering guitar shredding of Unearth. There’s something for every rock fan this year.
