Don’t miss the South’s largest water fight at the Beach Bum Parade on May 19, 2017 on Tybee Island! A favorite for the whole family, the Beach Bum Parade features not only trucks and floats, but also an assortment of water-throwing paraphernalia, as spectators armed with squirt guns, hoses and buckets of water wait along Butler Avenue. The event is free, but you will get soaked! 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tybee Island. Throwing ice (or ice water) and water balloons is prohibited, as well as the use of pressure washers.
