Come out for the Savannah Food and Wine Festival’s Secret Savannah Speakeasy on November 10, 2016 from 8-11 p.m. at the Georgia State Railroad Museum.
With the 1920s prohibition came the speakeasy, that secret, underground social club. Not everyone knew about it, just like not everyone knows about the hidden gems of Savannah’s local talent, culinary products, craft beers, spirits–all uniquely Savannah. And, the only way you’re going to find out is with the “Golden Ticket.”
So, grab your best flapper fringe, zoot suit and fedora for the Secret Savannah Speakeasy! Come ready to meet the taste makers of what Savannah eats and drinks with small-plate tastings and libations aplenty. Taste Savannah’s best hand-crafted cocktails and craft brews and enjoy a wide array of music and entertainment, reminiscent of Savannah’s prohibition heydays – and rub elbows with the who’s who in town for the festival!
Wear your best prohibition-era attire and enter to win a “2017 Savannah Food & Wine Festival Weekend Package for Two.” The Secret Savannah Speakeasy is presented by Eat It and Like It, Savannah Morning News, Savannah Magazine and Do Savannah. The event will take place in a secret location at the Georgia State Railroad Museum – you have to have the “Golden Ticket” and you’ll find out where when you arrive!
Tickets are $85 per person, with Pre-Festival Advance Purchase Pricing at $69 per person from June 1-August 31 and $74 per person from September 1-October 31. For more information, go to savannahfoodandwinefest.com.
