Spend the day on Tybee Island’s picturesque South Beach and watch as students from the Savannah College of Art and Design create sculptures out of sand on Friday, May 12, 2017. SCAD students compete in different categories, creating everything from from sea monsters to funny cartoon characters. Just make sure to get there before the tide comes in!
This event is free and open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For more information about the Sand Arts Festival, click here to SCAD’s website or email Chris Williams at email@example.com.
