The International Festival on River Street will take place on Oct. 15 & 16, 2016, from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday. One of Unity in the Community’s free, family friendly “Artists, Crafters & Entertainment Festivals,” the event will be held at Rousakis Plaza. Their monthly events consist of handcrafted ethnic arts and crafts, home based businesses and community non-profits. Entertainment will be provided by regional, local groups and individuals performing live.
On Oct. 15, 2016 XuluProphet is bringing their Psychedelic Roots, Reggae Rock to the International Festival. Heavily influenced by Carribean, Celtic, Latino and West African styles, the band blends these seamlessly into a syncopated rhythm driven ride through Funk and Rock. Come experience on of Savannah’s original bands on the city’s most famous historical landmark. Joining the band performing in fashion from around the world are The Stardust Pixxies.
