Savannah’s most exciting monthly art walk is right around the corner, just in time for holiday shoppers looking for high quality, locally made gifts.
This December’s Art March features a dozen restaurants, galleries, and boutiques all south of Forsyth Park. Park in the Desoto Ave. parking-lot and either walk, bike, or take the trolley to visit all the locations this month. If your on bike, be sure to take part in the Savannah Bicycle Campaigns Scavenger Hunt.
Find more information at facebook.com/spokemodels. The Indie Arts Market on Desoto Ave. offers amazing access to the creations of Savannah’s local vendors, and for the youngsters there will be the Kids Activity Area with all types of holiday crafts.
For more information about the locations and events visit artmarchsavannah.com, facebook.com/savartmarch, or pick up a map at one of many
locations downtown. The First Friday Art March has become a heartbeat for the burgeoning creative area south of Forsyth. By focusing and celebrating the
value of community, the Art March is creating a competitive and healthy market for artists and creative businesses. For more information visit artrisesavannah.org
First Friday Art March is a branch of Desotorow, Inc (transitioning to Art Rise Savannah). This event would not be possible without the gracious support of Agora Partners, Creative Approach, Paprika Southern, WellFED, Old Savannah Tours, and the City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs.
