The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society expects great competition at the 2017 Leukemia and Wassaw Cup on Sept. 9 and 10, 2017 at the beautiful and historic Savannah Yacht Club. The Leukemia Cup is a fundraising event and is open to youth one design and PHRF vessels. Charitable contributions increase your handicap and your chance to win. The Wassaw Cup is two day a PHRF Regatta which uses the pure results. PHRF competitors automatically enter both regattas when registering.
This series of events combines the joy of sporting with the important task of raising money to cure cancer. Every dollar raised is a dollar closer to a cure. The funds raised support LLS’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The St. Joseph’s/Candler Leukemia Cup Series offers the following events for sporting enthusiasts: clay shoot, yacht hop, 5K run/walk, fishing, sailing, tennis and golf.
