The Tybee Post Theater in association with Stephen Burnett presents a new stage play, “Kingston: A Peasant born with the Heart of a King” on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Hailing from Off Broadway to the coast of Georgia this original theatrical production centers around a royal family on the Mythical Island of Shinkou. Born an orphan and adopted by the Queen, Kingston lives his entire life as a loyal servant until a surprise visit back by the infamous Prince Othniel reveals a family secret that would change the kingdom forever. Experience the fierce and sultry Queen Sultana sure to woo you…and as for the rest of the royal court, they have committed to delivering a timeless performance!
Written and directed by S.C. Murray, “a New York native with Southern charm” and more than two decades of writing and directing experience, Kingston has a cast of eight and promises to deliver a thrilling theatrical experience.
