“It is with a heavy heart and after much discussion with local officials that we announce the cancellation of this year’s Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by Hurricane Matthew; given the storm’s devastation to our community, we feel it’s in everyone’s best interest that we cancel the festival.”
Mark your calendars for The Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival on October 14-16, 2016 at J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill!
The Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival has grown to a festival of 35,000 attendees featuring some of the best coastal seafood you can find cooked in a variety of ways, premiere desserts and who can forget the kettle corn and peach cobbler cooked by the Boy Scouts! There are over 50 arts and crafts booths showing their wares, non-profit organizations that serve Richmond Hill/Bryan County, business booth row showcasing numerous businesses around town, and plenty of exciting entertainers!
