Neighbor to Family is hosting Foster Parent Orientations March 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the Southwest Chatham Library. Come out and learn how you can help siblings in foster care right here in Chatham County.

Every two minutes, a child enters the foster care system. There are nearly 500,000 children in foster care in the United States, with more than 13,000 children in Georgia. Of those half a million children, between 65% and 85% enter care with at least one sibling and it is estimated that only 25% of these children are placed with all their siblings. Neighbor to Family Inc is a sibling foster care agency with a unique approach to foster care. They provide sibling groups with a nurturing foster home that enables brothers and sisters to stay together. Along with providing a loving home, the children and families receive a comprehensive array of services that are coordinated by their agency program.
