13th Colony Sound, Savannah, Georgia’s chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society meets on Monday nights at 6:30 p.m., at Savannah Arts Academy 500 Washington Avenue Savannah, GA 31406.
A Savannah Landmark Since 1971
Stroll through the breathtakingly beautiful scenic Savannah, GA and you may hear the harmonious sound of barbershoppers ringing out those barbershop chords. Chartered in 1971, 13th Colony Sound, the Savannah Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, spread this unique style of harmony singing to the oldest planned city in America. Dozens of quartets and hundreds of members throughout the years have sought to bring joy through song, singing in nursing homes, retirement communities, weddings, funerals, valentines, and even putting on full musical theatrical performances for harmony-lovers of all ages to enjoy.
Looking to the future, 13th Colony Sound is hitting the contest stage, supporting our very own home-grown youth chorus, and putting on even more shows and events for you and your family to enjoy. Celebrate with us, as we look back on the past 75 years of barbershop music, and look forward to the many, many more that lie ahead.
