October 14: Join hundreds of spectators on the streets of Savannah Georgia for a day of music, dancing and fabulous floats during the 1st Annual Hispanic Heritage Parade. Celebrating its 3rd anniversary, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce organizes and programs the Hispanic Heritage Parade which is the first and largest Hispanic event in the region celebrating the Hispanic and Latino Heritage. Hundreds of performers, local celebrities, youth groups, march up the Oglethorpe and Liberty Streets during the annual parade before ending at the Savannah Civic Center in downtown Savannah to start the Sabor Latino Festival. Parade, 10-12 noon. Festival, 12–8 p.m. The parade will be along the tree lined streets in Downtown Savannah Georgia. Starting on Montgomery and Oglethorpe Street, Eastbound on Oglethorpe, South on Price and Westbound on Liberty Street.
