May 3: 1st Annual Savannah Pig Derby hosted by the American Diabetes Association’s Kiss-a-Pig team, Phi Pigma Kappa from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Emmet Park, downtown Savannah. This fun-filled day will have everything for the entire family, bounce houses, a corn hole tournament, a kissing booth, a dunking booth with local celebrities, a photo booth, live music, Zumba instruction, a demonstration by Stretch-n-Grow to promote children’s health, pig races and much more. Sodas, water, lunch, ice cream and healthy food choices will be served!

Activities include Opening Ceremonies at 10 a.m. Derby Hat Parade at 10:15 a.m. Zumba demonstration at 11 a.m. A performance by Richmond Hill’s Off Broadway Dance Studio from 12-1 p.m. Pig Races with Frank Sulkowski from 1:30–2 p.m. and live entertainment featuring The Christy Alan Band from 2-4 p.m.
