Churchill’s Head Chef Mike DeMarco will appear on the Hell’s Kitchen Season 12 Premiere on March 13 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
Churchill’s Pub in Savannah, Georgia is eager to support their head chef, Mike DeMarco, during a viewing party Thursday night for another round of Hell’s Kitchen.
“We are excited Chef DeMarco will be on the season premiere and want to support him,” said Churchill’s Pub owner Andy Holmes. “It will be a lot of fun watching the show with DeMarco sitting right there with us and up on the screen.”
Hell’s Kitchen has a daunting application listed on their website, asking in-depth questions about not only the applicant’s employment history but also their personality, personal culinary preferences, and a particularly tough question: describe your feelings about Chef Gordon Ramsay.
DeMarco started out as a teenager working in a local pizza joint in his hometown of Dumore, Pennsylvania. He went on to earn his associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University, eventually working at Elmhurst Country Club and Eagle’s Nest at Bloody Point among other restaurants.
“It’s going to be surreal to watch the show live at Churchill’s Pub Thursday with all my co-workers and Churchill’s fans,” said DeMarco. “I really appreciate the support of Andy and our staff.”
“DeMarco has been a great asset to me, and no matter what happens on this season of Hell’s Kitchen, all of us at Churchill’s are proud of him!” said Holmes.
After aspiring Hell’s Kitchen contestants complete the lengthy application, round 2 of the application process requires a video and headshot submission, followed by a live audition.
