2014 Tybee Wine Festival

Posted on February 20, 2014 by

The 6th Annual Tybee Wine Festival is an annual springtime celebration of wine and coastal cuisine set on postcard-perfect Tybee Island, the laid-back island paradise located just 20 minutes east of historic Savannah.

Presented by the historic Tybee Post Theater, this year’s event, April 9-13, features five days of international wines, fine food, and, of course, live music at Savannah’s Beach.

From the intimate and elegant five-course wine dinner at the Tybee Island Social Club and the fun and casual Oysters and Wine celebration at Marlin Monroe’s Surfside Grill, to the Sunday Champagne Brunch at Tybee’s famous Crab Shack, there’s something for everyone this year. That something includes cooking and decorating demonstrations by some of the area’s top chefs and entertaining maven Holley Jaakkola, and the centerpiece event, as always, the popular Grand Wine Tasting on the beautiful grounds of the Tybee Island Light Station with more than 75 international wines and tastings from our favorite Tybee restaurants.

All proceeds benefit the restoration of the historic Tybee Post Theater.

Information and tickets for all events are available online now at TybeeWineFestival.com or by calling 912-663-1099.
